Ipsy June 2013 SPOILERS

Apparently the Ipsy gods have listened to us over at Makeuptalk.com because they released two spoilers extremely early. One was via facebook and the other was in an email to get people to resubscribe. Looks to be a promising month yet again! But also a lot of variation already just with the one item they revealed.

Also there will be 5 products again this month.

Sneak peek released via facebook, JUNE GLAM BAG SNEAK PEEK #1:

The text under this sneak peek that was released via email says:

So that is confirmed that they first item will be a NYX blush. I don't really use blush but two of those in the email sneak peek look like they could pass as a bronzer or highlight and those are two things I really need so fingers crossed I get one of those!

Popsugar Must Have May 2013

After a long week of waiting for my Popsugar box to get here, it finally arrived. 

I opened it like a kid on Christmas morning while my fiance' laughed at me. Finally when I turned to him with a sad face he asked what I was looking for. 

"The clutch" I said, and pouted. I didn't get one. But life goes on. 

So here is what I did get.

Great box! Great job popsugar, you really redeemed yourself after last month. I must say I am extremely happy with this box. I'm not sure if I will wear the hat because it's not an everyday hat, but I'm the type of woman to wear a hat like this to go fishing, haha.

As you can see I did not get the hat in black, but graphite. It fits my big melon head pretty well.

I haven't tried these chips yet because I am saving them for my fiance' but from what I hear they are delicious.

I guess Pacifica partnered up with Popsugar this month, as well as Ipsy. 

(Ipsy featured roll-on perfume, lotion and bronzing lotion)

I didn't get the lotion in my Ipsy bag so I placed an order straight through Pacifica and got a free Sugared Fig Color Quench Lip Tint, so now I have two. :p I will probably gift the second to my mother in law because I rarely finish anything lip related, other than plain chapstick.

This Color Quench is very hydrating and goes on pretty sheer, the swatch below was quite a few swipes.

Beauty Blender and cleanser, ahhh. I have been lusting after this for a while now, ever since I saw a beauty guru using one on youtube and her foundation came out flawless. I haven't even taken it out of the bubble wrap yet, afraid I could damage the precious sponge haha. I can't wait to use this, even if it is with some BB cream.

I opened this and looked at two of the cards, this seems like it would be better in book form. The two I did read were interesting and held my attention so one night I think me and the girls will have to get together and read these, and drink what's next ;)

These! haha, yes we will be reading the cards and drinking margaritas. My fiance' immediately grabbed these little suckers when I was done pouting. He opened it all up and examined it. I asked him if he wanted it and he said no but I could tell he wanted them anyways. So maybe it will be a Mommy and Daddy night and we can drink these. Either way they will be a good time tasting and being adventurous for once.

There was also a white Popsugar tote and a $30 gift card to Charm and Chain that I will most likely use sometime soon, but it does not expire for a while so no rush there. :)

Holy crap! Way to go Popsugar! Blew us all away this month. Except for those few Debbie Downers of course but you made me one happy lady!

Ipsy May 2013

As you may know from the May spoilers, that there were a lot of "or" items. I was so scared I was not going to get anything I liked if I kept just one bag so I opened a second account and ordered a second bag. I'm so bad haha. I know a lot of women over at MUT have done so as well, so I feel a little less guilty. Anyways, I got bag number 1 today, number 2 hasn't even shipped yet so I will update this post as soon as I get bag number 2. 

I'm going to hop right into this.

The bag feels pretty nice to me, similar to the nautical theme bag from March.

First I would like to explain why I got a Urban Decay eyeshadow. When I got my shipping email they said it was for being "such a great content creator and active member of the ipsy community". I was super excited about that one, stumped but excited. 

I got the shade Space Cowboy. It is pretty and seems to be quite buildable. I want to try it with a white base when I actually wear it so it is more visible but it would be perfect alone for a simple day look.

Full size, valued at $20.

I got the Yaby concealer in "buff". It looked a little too dark for me at first but it seems to be the perfect shade, but come summer it will probably be too light, but perfect for a highlight.

I'm not positive if this one is full size or not but if it is, it is valued at $4.85

I received Pacifica's Tahitian Gardenia Perfume Roll-On, at first I was like WOW that's strong but once I put it on it toned itself down a lot. It smells good but I really wish I had gotten the vanilla. I think I may order the vanilla kit off the website with the 20% off code. 

This perfume is full size, valued at $12

I love this lipstick! I thought I wouldn't like it because it looks a little pinky to me and I'm not a fan of pink lipstick (on me), but it is so sheer it ends up a nude pink. I received the shade Day Dream. It's perfect and moisturizing and full size! Valued at $22.

Next is the sample size of Anastasia's clear brow gel. I tried it, not a fan. It made my brows feel like they had a layer of liquid band-aid over them. Also, it felt empty like the Chella brow gel from a few months ago. Maybe I didn't apply it correctly but it just wasn't my cup of tea. 

Sample 2.5 ml, full size .28 oz. $22. 

And last for the first Ipsy bag I received, I got Zoya Gie Gie. The picture above is two coats. It applies very nicely, evenly without any streaks. It's a light pink. It was also my second color choice, behind the blue.

Julep May 2013 and Sea Salt Mystery Box

Okay, so I got my May box yesterday and my Mystery Box today so I figured I would combine them into one post.

Let's get right into it :)

First is the May box. I chose Bombshell. Which included the Paris Jazz Trio, Gabrielle and Zelda. I ordered Coco as an add-on, but haven't received that package yet. 

Here are Gabrielle and Zelda, I took the swatches off of Julep.com because I didn't have time to swatch them for you guys.

Here are the freebie pins, while they are cute they might be a little too cutesy for me. I will be playing around with them to see if I can work them into a hairstyle.

And lastly the lip trio.

Left to right, Lady in Red, Charleston and Sweet Lorraine. Sweet Lorraine is very light and barely showed up on the swatch. I also included the swatch from the site (picture on the right)

Now here is my Sea Salt Mystery box. I got version 4 according to the invoice. 

As you can see I got Ally, Sadie and Melissa. I couldn't find a swatch for Melissa or Sadie but did include one below for Ally.

I also got the Pomegranate body scrub and body creme. They scrub left a weird over moisturized feeling on my skin but smells awesome. The body creme is amazing though.

I am extremely happy with my mystery box, and the May box was cool even though I didn't win. haha. Congrats to the May Mystery Maven!
